The link stays a draft on the Free plan. It goes live only when you are on Growth (including a Growth trial) and you turn the affiliate link On with a price above zero. If a trial is still available, the page offers Start free trial . If the trial was already used, it offers Upgrade . What a person earns Kahana’s marketplace fee is 5%. Stripe’s card fee is estimated on top. The affiliate percentage applies to what you would keep after those fees, not to the full sticker price. In the editor, a $13 hub at 20% shows what you keep on that sale and what the affiliate earns. Those two numbers update as you change the price or the percentage. Kahana has two note surfaces. Hub notes travel with the pack you share. Personal notes stay yours across hubs. Primary action: Open Notes Hub notes Inside a hub you own or collaborate on, add notes for intros, reading guides, and curriculum. Members of that hub see them with the files. In Settings → Notes you can pick Blocks or Classic (TinyMCE) as the hub notes editor. Personal notes Open kahana.io/notes for notes that are not tied to one hub listing. These are not a public blog. Smart links Insert or open links to a hub, file, author, or club from a note. That is how a reading guide points at the real artifact. A preview reel is a short trailer for your hub. On Library, it shows as a carousel when someone hovers or swipes the card, so they can sample the hub before they open it. Primary action: Open a hub you own → Hub settings → Preview reel What it is Preview reels are optional. They do not replace a cover image, title, or description. They give Library visitors a few clips: images or short videos: before they decide to open or buy. Limits Up to eight clips per hub Images or video (MP4 or WebM) Videos should stay around 30 seconds or less You can upload a new clip or pick a file already in the hub How to add one Open the hub and go to settings. You can deactivate your Kahana account from Settings. Permanent deletion follows in 30 days unless you sign in and cancel.
